Parish Council Election 2025

With the deadline for nominations to become a Parish Councillor and participate in the local election on 1st May 2025 now CLOSED, it is now known that there is no need for an election for Cosgrove Parish Council. Voting will only take place for the Ward Councillors, who serve on West Northamptonshire Council.
Cosgrove Parish Council has nine seats for councillors, but following the process to stand, only six of the existing councillors are willing to stand and no new candidates have come forward. The Parish Council will hold their first meeting of the new term on May 7th, where the first decision will be to elect a Chairperson.
The intention of the Parish Council will be to fill the three vacancies by co-option. Members of the community who were considering standing for the Parish Council may still come forward, attend meetings and let the clerk know of their interest.
If that's you, please come forward and assist with the decisions that the Parish Council makes.
